ABSTRACT
This paper describes the
implementation of a content-adapting personalization system on the website
of the second largest Swedish daily newspaper. The system utilizes content
description provided by journalists to personalize information to the
readers. The aim of the implementation was to influence the users’
behavior in order to increase business efficiency. The results show that
an increase in reading volume is achieved under certain circumstances. A
description of the technical design, functionality, and the user interface
is given.
